Mark your calendars for Tuesday, October 16! We’re hosting our annual Demo Day to celebrate the completion of another successful program. Like last year, Demo Day will take place during the World Food Prize and Borlaug Dialogue in downtown Des Moines — a week that symbolizes the importance agriculture plays in our daily lives and how advancements in technology help feed the world.
Demonstration Day is a significant milestone for our 2018 cohort. They spent 94 days this summer working with investors and mentors to identify their strengths as a business and focus on areas of development to help bring their innovations and business plans toward commercial viability. They have made great strides from their time in The Accelerator and have used their time wisely to build strategic relationships that will be beneficial to their businesses for years to come. Now, with support from our amazing group of investors — Corteva, Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance Company, Grinnell Mutual, Kent Corporation, John Deere, Peoples Company and Sukup Manufacturing — in addition to more than 120 mentors, The Accelerator’s Class of 2018 is ready to take the next step toward full-scale launch.
Join us as we celebrate our Class of 2018 at Demonstration Day, where the startups will present their innovations to the public. Details follow.
